All of our lamb is sourced from Gass Farm, in the heart of Ayrshire. A traditional hill farm, it has been farmed by the Kay family since 1903. Lying upon the Straiton hills, rising from 800 to 1100ft above sea level, it is well suited to the nature of the hardy blackface sheep.
The Kay family have won many prizes and are well recognised within the farming community for their esteemed breeding and high welfare standards.
Our lamb is assured under the Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) scheme, therefore certified from pasture to plate and carries the Scotch Lamb PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) logo. Meet the Kay family and gain an insight into their farming activity.
