Tarbert Fine Foods’ Scottish Smoked Salmon is available as delicious Scottish Cold Smoked Salmon and Scottish Hot Smoked Salmon, with Sweet Chilli, Ginger & Lime – both of which are cured and smoked at our family owned site in Scotland.

Cold Smoked Salmon
Fillets of Atlantic Salmon (Salmo Salar) are cured with salt and brown sugar for a minimum of 12 hours in order to enhance the natural taste of the salmon. Once the curing and smoking processes are complete, the salmon’s flavours are left to mature in a temperature controlled environment; creating a perfectly balanced blend of smoke and cure.

Hot Smoked Salmon
Fillets of Atlantic farmed salmon are individually hand cured with salt and brown sugar for a minimum of 12 hours to enhance the natural delicate flavours of the salmon. The fillets are then smoked and cooked simultaneously to produce a flaky, moist product with sweet undertones.
